Anyone live in the countryside as opposed to the city? Neighbors bought some hens. The hens woke me up at dawn. Arrg.. They are loud.

Forgot what else I wanted to say.

Edit: I live in the suburbs with bus service and a commuter train station but the neighborhood feels like a farmland now that the neighbors are raising chickens.

Sent from tablet with touchj keypad

We live next to a wide river in the centre of a big city so is a little of both worlds, no chooks around here but fruit bats are out in numbers at night, kinda like foxes with wings, and possums, both are pretty loud

Due to my daughter and her family moving out in a snit and taking the modem with her, I've been without Internet for 2 weeks. McDonald's is not the best place in the world to get online.

Non-complaint: This morning a nice cable guy showed up and now I have cable, phone, and INTERNET.

So the stories are true, there are good cable guys in the world somewhere

A murder mystery? It does look good. Maybe a little graffiti on the walls? And a few wrinkled papers on the ground.

I'm sure they will be OK cos where there is shadow there is sun and the ice will melt and maybe the ice dragon as well :)

Ack, went to open up Samuel's 'apartment scene' for the first time since moving to 4.0+ and nothing loaded but the walls. The couch, the table, the window were all missing. They were there in the content tab but in the scene, not visible. While I HAD wanted to update the look of his room, I had not anticipated having to start completely from scratch.

No disrespect to CakeOne, but I'm pretty sure the customers for that product aren't trying to keep their Vicky fit. :)

You can try loading the items from the scene, if you remember what they are, into a new scene and saving that. That "should" refresh the geometry cache and the old scene "should" load :)

Yeah, my thoughts exactly. I had intended to update the look but now I may have to start over. I'll get to it pretty soon.

Swim or three for me the next few days and if the weather clears some sail time, tho that looks unlikely right now. I did split a half case of Jaimeson's with the editor, three bottles left for me altho meh, prolly just end up stressed and hungover

Meh thread counts aren't what they should be, they count threads in a twist as well as in a weave Whisky Tango Foxtrot

...been doing the same here as well, not only meshes, but surfaces & textures as well.

03:15 and started the final render of the scene I've been working on. Somehow, hair that I set up to be blue (diffuse, ambient, specular, & environment map channels) kept rendering red in the tests. Finally fixed it by redoing the colour from the bginning again.

Off to bed, will let it render while I sleep.

    Nitey Nite.

    I did arts!

    Just kinda happened. :)
Was doing scribbles, then I decided to draw an eye...

So I did, and then I added the mouth!

And then I was like "zomg, must draw entire head" O_O

Heheh. Was using a 10px wide brush at 75% with no size variation. Big loose sketch D:<</p>

And then did the leetle harder sketchies after. Winged it the whole way through!
After I showed a few friends and was about to upload, I thought MUST DO COLOR!

Heh, so yeah. Enjoy teh scaly raptorkin :>
(Raptorkin being a term I came up with to pretty much loosely clump any creature bearing raptor-y traits in my fictional world into one category. Thus by definition, a scaly critter like this guy would still be a "raptor" - though they still distinguish between "True Raptors" and "psuedo-raptors" and hybrids i.e half-dragon, half-raptor.

Think like how many use 'Dragonkin' as a term defining any dragon-esque creatures, even if they're not "true" dragons. They bear many dragon traits or are descended from true dragons, and thus they are dragonkin. Same applies to raptorkin!)

Need some help guys. I'm recreating Samuel's living room but one of the original props is loading wrong. It is suppose to be just a chest, but it's loading the display case instead and the textures are loading funky too. I'm pretty sure it's a Daz product, but I can't find it in the store. In my contents tab, it's listed as ShadowForge. Everything else from this set is loading fine (the lacquered table, silk runners on the wall), but not this chest.

I'm uploading a couple old images showing the chest I'm talking about (and just for Misty, this includes the tickle image she remembers so fondly) as well as the display case that loads in place of the chest piece.

ETA: if I try to load the display case, I get a blank null instead.

It could have been one of the old Archive freebies maybe? Or has been sent to the ominous Daz "Vault"? :ahhh:

Not really sure what I'm doing at this point heh, but I do know I kinda messed up the model I was trying to recreate x)

Ah well, it is only my second sculpt attempt in Zbrush so I can't really expect to perfectly recreate such a detailed figure so soon :)
Might as well just wing it from here, or make it a bit more stylized...

Nicely done!! I like the daytime render too, but this is really nice. I especially like the way you have the light streaming out on the sidewalk and roadway.
