"Dead" deformer field cannot be deleted from scene

Hello. In one of my scenes, there is a black deformer field that cannot be deleted. I cannot select it manually, and it doesn't show up in the scene list. I've also noticed that opening and clearing the scene is taking abnormally long i.e. several minutes for something that should take only a few seconds. I speculate that the two symptoms are related. Does anyone have any ideas for how to troubleshoot?

    Interesting, I've told Daz3D to display hidden notes, and behold, I see 4000+ generically names Mag Base and Mag Zone objects. Does anyone know what the purpose of these are? When deleted, the "dead" deformer field vanishes.

    Probably one of the DForms that adjust Victoria 4 as you pose her (or some other figures, but V4 is the most common example of a figure using hidden joint-controlled DForms).

    I'm not sure that's the case here. When I delete V4 from the scene, these mag's stay put and pollute the scene in the background. Example, I delete V4. Resave blank scene and I end up with a ~3 meg file. I'm wondering if they were freeloaders from another product that was previously loaded into the scene and then deleted.

    When hidden nodes are on, I can see the V4 deformers parented to the figure. However, the deformers that were causing me problems were not parented, and are not named in a way that makes me think they ever belonged to V4. I have a theory that these "unparented" deformers were stowaways with another product. However, since they weren't parented, deleting the product must have left them behind in the scene, hidden.

    I routinely save portions of scenes for reuse, sometimes multiple times within a new scene. I found one scene with over 9000 magnets stowing away due to multiple instantiation. Deleting them all reduced my file size by about 10 meg. Loading/saving times are now what I expect.

    As a side note, deleting them all was very difficult.. It took Daz Stuido a couple hours of chewing when I selected them all in a group using shift + left click. CPU speed didn't seem to be a problem. All cores were running about 25%. Ram usage was only about 25% as well.

    If I ever find what product it was, I'll leave a note for future listeners.

    The majority are copies of the following pairs: Mag Zone 1, Mag Base 1, Mag Zone 2, Mag Base 2. I also see BSCR Base/Zone pairs but far less frequently.

    I'm having issues with this too. These Mag Zones and Mag Bases are increasingly annoying. Is there any way to get rid of these so that the model/scene loads faster?

    Can you delete them in the dFormer pane?
