Cups runneth over

I have a steampunk costume from that other place that has a morph that presses the breast above the corset so that it looks like the corset is too little for the figure pushing the uncontained up and out (overflowing). I would like to know if there is a morph set that enables this for any costume. I particularly want to "bind" the breasts of any warrior type but this is the one that got me wondering.

  • For ANY costume?

What I would use would be Albiejee's Soft Body dials (from Renderosity).

It's VERY manual process to use these pose dials, however. It does target specific regions of the breasts, and it's very simple in what it does.

    maybe try with d-formers?

It may take a bit of a hunt, but some costumes come with body morphs which are independant and can be used in general. There are a couple of them with a waist cinch morph. Powerage's fairly recent Octoberfest costume comes with something like the breast morph you mention, but possibly not exactly what you are after. It's designed for a bodice, rather than breast binding.

I think it has to be a morph specific for that item you want to use.

And if not wanting to create a morph, I would assume mesh grabber can do the job.

I'm on a Mac so mesh grabber is out.

I looked at the deformer tool but ther is much I don't understand about it. for instance I need the breast to be bound so the verts across the top of the bandeau will need to be pinned keeping that part stationary while pulling (or pushing) the exposed part of the mesh and I didn't see how that is done.

"Boobs" is a word I reserve denoting idiots.

I would try Mesh Grabber, but it's likely not to give a very realistic looking "mounding" effect for close-ups, since Mesh Grabber can only work with the base mesh. Getting a more rounded/pillowy effect like real breasts would have might be pretty tricky without creating a separate morph for it. If you're careful and work slowly you might be able to get the effect with Mesh Grabber though. I'd give it a shot. :)

There are some corsets that come with very nice morphs that can be used independently, however the ones I'm specifically thinking of also slim the waist along with pushing the breasts up. You might need to compensate with the waist slider.

You would need to create a weight-map, so that the parts you want to be affected are, and the parts you don't want to be affected are not.  This is one tutorial on Youtube, but there are others.

Hi! I would learn to use Dform, You can make your own set of morphs which can be dialled in to any amount and then saved with the model as a scene subset, and used with any clothing at all.

p.s. an idiot is a "Tit"

  • Here. I'll even link it directly this time (at risk of being deleted by the mods).

This is a bunch of pose dials for nodes on the breasts. You push and pull each one individually to create the soft body illusion.

LBG Soft Body Solution: G8F Chest

This is the simplest way to do it. Just move the dials.

Apparently I managed to quote myself instead of edit my original comment, lol.

Also check Squish morphs. I remember i13 used to have a set of those which might help. They were mostly for things like lying on the floor, but it's at least worth checking the promos.
