Technical questions about animating with Puppeteer and Powerpose

OK, I hope I can make sense here after being stunned by recent news (can this year possibly get ANY weirder?)...
1. Is there a way to prevent Puppeteer from creating keyframes for every frame when animating between dots in real time using the Record feature? It's convienent, but just about impossible to edit the animation afterwards.
2. Is it possible to reconfigure the Powerpose dots that control head/neck movement and torso movement to create keyframes under the Head-Neck Bend/Twist/Side-Side and Waist Bend/Twist/Side-Side dials instead of making a bunch of them for each body part that they manipulate? This could also solve the issue of those same two dots not directly affecting those parameter dials, leading to some confusing moments when posing them using both methods (eyes too).
I think I had more questions, but I can't remember them now. Those two ought to be enough for tonight anyway. Thanks in advance for any help.

Thanks, I'll try that out. It seems easier to just place two dots and use the Preview tab to switch between poses and just keyframe them manually than trying to record like I was doing though.
The Powerpose thing is bugging me because it doesn't appear the standard G8 ones can be edited (I understand why, but I'd really like those dots fixed).
