  • So, I created a new account today.  Purchased nothing.  Put DAZ in new folder w/ new paths.  Did everything I could to not install anything but DAZ 4.12.1.117 Pro 54 bit for Windows.

I have more than a dozen "Lost and Found" items I have no use for.  I do not need SciFi Melee Weapons and Rocker outfit and Level 19 nor anything to do w/ Genesis 2, 3 and others.  I do not have Victoria, so I do not need a string bikini for her.  I would like to have a clean database (directory, folder, whatever) so I can add only what I want to work with.

Is this not possible?  Apparently, by downloading the newest version, I am consider to have purchased these eclectic items and if I don't install them, they will appear as ghosted icons.

Looking for a more pristine look...

Split to its own thread since the older was not wholly relevant.

Install manager now has install sets which give you a set of related files - but the DS one clearly has more than you want. Try uninstalllling the parts you don't want, if possible, or the whole package if not then the next time you start Install Manager you will get a pop-up dialogue - uncheck the Daz Studio install set, uncheck Show Automatically, and you should then be able to go item by item.

I think you are talking about the free content that comes with DazStudio ... so by buying DS, you "bought" those items too.
