How do I add a preset character to my library

So, I wanted to save a character with morphs etc... as a character preset. But I'd like this character to appear in the library along others in people/genesis8female/character...etc... for convenience. How do I do that? Sorry, I guess it's super basic, but I couldn't manage to do it.

Save the character preset to that location.

Use the "+" button at the bottom of the Content Library pane. It pops up a selection of save options, which will go into whichever folder you have open in the Content Library. I think the only thing you can't save from this method is a Support Asset, for those you must go to the File menu and Save As. This simplifies things a lot, since you never need to remember where your Content Library folders are, D|S takes care of that half of the folder path for you.

One gotcha; this method will not work if you install content using Connect — D|S considers these folders to be protected, and will not allow manual saving into them.

More to the point, the containers in the Daz Connect Virtual folder are not necessarily a single folder - for example the Materials folder may be an aggregate of the materials folder from the base and from one or more texture expansions - so they don't necessarily represent a unique location to whch to save, and they certainly don't represent the real location of the files (they skip the /data/cloud/1_#####/ folder)..
