I love your picture!
Thank you pericolo. So I just wanted to show you guys what you can do with a little work and a little bit of money. Below I have G8M wearing the bandsman outfit by PhilC. The original fits the Poser 4 nude male. Using EvilInnocense's Crossdresser software I converted the suit to M3. I have the clones for M3 and V3 for Genesis which I bought here. I loaded the suit onto Genesis saved out the suit for Genesis then loaded the suit onto Genesis 8 male. So I guess what I am saying is that the two pieces of software, crossdresser and the clones opens up a whole lot of cool stuff. So let the music begin!

and other good older figures that I still not am used to work with but should be (need to get David 3 and Stephanie 3, now realizing)... and of pw Toons too, just need to make things work while using them 
, but it seems I have finaly make them work now 
I am finding a lot of the newer figures are not as interesting as the older ones so I tend to use a lot of the older figures for most of my 3D artwork!
If I only could use them
on my old slow but still great computer. I had troubles using new figures because of working with pw Toons shaders (which is just making my dreams visible 
), but now it seems I have finaly found a way how to do it on G2 figures, should work on G3 too, I need to give it a go. G8 is just too much for now, but I have few bundles, yet I am so slow with it that I even don't download unofficial freebies for it. Yet new things are just wonderful, older are good enough for me now and those free figures are good enough for background at least. I recently got Freak 3 with expansions, it seems to be great for some goblinoid low poly characters. Now I wish I have it completed lol missing some yet but got most of it I think together with H3 and A3... Oh well also lately this got into my eyesight but lol they seem to charge about 50$ to send a book in Europe, Montenegro, yet now I want it lol though I am still playing older version of the game... Here is the link for it just for info but I think I should focus on something free yet good like this one here yet free :) that is Talislanta, older RPG but I am guessing still good to read and maybe play 
Anyway hope I am not breaking any rules with those links and actualy I need to start using V4/M4 contnent beside G1 that is my favorite, and also focus more on G2/G3. G1 and above is just superb content, but those older are just great too

I tweaked some materials, the light and the poses. All done within Daz Studio Iray. Postwork done in Pixelmator, mainly just color correction and watermark. I have attached the pre-postwork render and the entry below.

You are good to go Jacky. Please transfer your image to the Entries Thread. Love the clown face and nose. You make them yourself? So did you like the results of the Mystical Flowers? I downloaded the package but have not installed it yet. Just love the sunflower image she has posted. I might have to buy Florabelle for G8F. I have moonbeam's graphics wishlisted and thought I might try and make more if I could. I am a sucker for Victorian scrap flower images and that would be amazing to put a costume together using them as Maddeliruim has done for the roses.

Yes, made the clown's face myself, painted it directly on G8M's Base Materials (nothing more than a white overlay basicly) and used April's Flo Makeup for the lips and Cherubit's Cute L.I.E. Makeup for the eyeliner and the blush. The nose is, just like Faeofthe3rdDimension did, a sphere primitive with an adjusted Iray car shader by Tom2099. Check out my second entry in the October 2019 challenge... ;) And yes again, I like Mystical Flowers by MysticArtDesign very much, I fell in love with Promo picture #5, the roses, so beautiful!

I've been away from the computer, the internet, and even the phone for most of the month, leaving me only two days (plus the time difference between SE Asia and Utah) to do something stupid for this month's contest.
And I just got back to find the HDD on my laptop has died - but luckily I've been expecting something like that to happen, so I have Poser and DAZ Studio all ready to roll on another laptop.
An even older one; a 32-bit one; a watching-paint-drying-ly slow one.
So I'm not sure whether I'll get anything at all done in time. Which would be a shame - I think my muse has some ideas for the "Only at the circus" theme, judging by the miming* and maniacal laughter...
*I'm not sure if, technically speaking, it's possible to mime while laughing maniacally.

Bravo ministerricky1, what a kind gift to write a poem for us. So Poser will be 30. I bought Poser 5 off of Ebay to get nude Judy and the kids. PhilC has some wonderful freebies for them like the Hobbit for Penny and Will that I wanted to see what they looked like. There is some cool stuff on the additional content disk that came with the box. Was there the same for Poser 4, additional content offered by other artists outside of the Poser team? @JackyBrown, I noticed the condition you were seeing when you tried my Entries Thread link. It seems that the forum is adding some characters to the end of the html line. It looks something like this "%C2%A0" I have no clue why this is happening. Maybe someone can pipe up and give us clueless a fix.

The content disc of Poser 4 Pro did add some extra content, way back with items from Zygote. I was short of cash & couldn't afford Poser 5 but I should have waited & saved up for it then. I didn't realise the big difference of Dynamic Clothing & Hair.
You are most welcome. Funny the reason I got a copy of Poser was for the cloth room. When they introduced Poser Debut and gave it out at Christmas one year I got a copy. After that I upgraded to 2010 Pro on the cheap. I am alas a DAZ girl and once you impress there seems there is no going back. So Poser became a tool to make clothing look better and nothing more. I do however want to learn more about the material shaders Poser has. There are some gorgeous results.
DAZ Studio is awesome, it has many features I wish were in Poser.
But there are reasons I like Poser very much as well, features which were included with Poser early on, including Python scripting, dynamic clothing, talk designer & many more. Plus the original Poser figures have lower overhead. I got Poser 3 on a magazine coverdisc, Poser 4 Pro as my first eBay purchase, 6, 7, Pro 2010, Debut & Pro 11, but that was when I was employed & had money. Now, I'm unemployed & make use of the fantastic freebies I missed, for which I am very grateful indeed. If I have some cash then I wait until there's a sale & may be able to afford something I'm interested in.
My first exposure to DAZ Studio was when I got Bryce 5.5 on a magazine coverdisc & DAZ Studio accompanied it. In my opinion, renders look better in DAZ Studio compared to Poser, but then again I'm not that skilled in either to make an objective judgement as yet.
I played around with Poser & DAZ Studio all these years, but didn't 'get under the hood' & do anything 'serious' with them yet, but I'm now returning to Poser 3 (which still runs on this 64-bit Windows 10 laptop). I plan on learning the basics from the ground up, practising all there is to learn & then develop my ability at using them as I make my way up to present day versions.
Well, I missed the deadline.
However, I think the NAE (Not An Entry) I was doing actually works even better with just a summary of the idea, leaving the image to be created in the mind of the viewer.

The interior of a big top, with all the spotlights on the central ring. The audience, all of whom are birds of various types, can be dimly seen. Within the central ring is a huge birdcage, inside which is a rooster in gaudy attire, cock-a-doodle-dooing, strutting his stuff cockerel fashion and, with the aid of various kitchen utensils, goading the three trained (but not pleased) Colonel Sanders lookalikes to act like chickens. And you can see from their eyes that they're thinking "Mmmm ! Spicy rooster drumsticks..."
*I've probably got my de/du all wrong - it's supposed to be "The Circus Of Much Cuckoo In The Clouds" in French. You know, Le Cirque Du Soleil. Cloud Cuckoo Land. Aristophanes. Edit -m just found that the French translation is usually "Coucouville-les-Nuées" !
