Hello;

Is it possible to install Daz Studio on a drive other then C?...if so how is the process?

By default the install manager installs it always on drive C.

Or is a manual installation also possible?

    You can change the settings in Install Manager to modify install path.

    You can also install DS general release manually. Betas can only be installed via DIM though.

    How do i specify in the install manager a different install location for Daz studio?...

    I would like it to be installed on my D drive...not C.

    There are alot of options here and i have no clue what to do.

    Do you want to change where it install the program itself or the content?

    For the software:

    The paths for software installs are the ones labeled "32 bits software base" and "64 bits software base". You're most probably installing the 64 bits version of DS, so the one you need to change here is the one labeled "64 bits software base". It's the base path used for all Daz software installs from DIM, DS 4 64 bits will be installed in <64 bits software base>\DAZ 3D\DAZStudio4

    For the content:

    The paths for content install are the ones in the box at the bottom of the settings page. You can add a new one using the "+" button at the bottom.

    Once you've done that, select "show details" at the bottom of DIM window, you'll see a section where you can choose a "content path shortcut" which is where all content will be installed to. Select the new one there before installing.

    Once it's done you'll also need to add that new path as a content directory in DS preferences so DS knows it's not installed in the default location.
