All my scripts/custom actions are gone.

So I fire up DS to find all of my custom actions are gone. Dozens of them. Open up the customize menu and they've all been replaced with gobbledygook nonsense characters. Loading one of my many saved layouts does nothing.

Kinda rinky-dink.

    Did you update Daz?  I've read about custom actions breaking on upgrades... they can also behave odd sometimes if you change workspaces which is indeed rinky-dink.

    Have you changed your content directories (or installed Daz Central)? If you open

    %AppData%/daz 3d/studio4/customactions.dsx

    in a text editor is it legible?

    No, no changes, no new installations.

    I deleted the gobbledygook and repopulated my scripts menu last night, so the file you refer to reflects the new setup. I tried loading old layouts but that doesn't change the file in question.
