I forgot ... ?

Is there anyway to figure out what skin I used on a character?

See what the name of the .jpg is and hope it's distinctive enough?

What Fixmypcmike means is to select the torso with the Surface Selcion Tool and have a squiz at the texture by going right click/browse to see where it it is. 99% of the texture names will show what character they belong to. Not rocket science.

could you explain that? Right clicking what? The skin?

Select the surface, then go to the Surfaces pane and click on the little box to the left of the slider (Diffuse Strength for 3DL, not sure what it would be for Iray) and choose browse, and it should open up the folder with the textures.

Just select a surface and look in the surfaces tab. That will give you ne name of the linked file.  (Or at any rate that's an easy way to check in 3DL. I'm sure there's a place in the Iray array which names the linked files as well.)

You can look at the map in the "base color" field for Iray...
