Rendering

Hello;

 

A question about Iray:

 

My renders are finishing sometimes to soon, especially when using HDRI.  with the final result still with some noise.

I know that there is something you can do in the settings to make the renders bake for a longer time (or indefinite) but i forgot which setting that is.

 

Help is appreciated.

    Whata re they stopping for  -time (about two hours), convergence (100% on the progress bar), or samples?

    I would just want the ability to decide myself when to stop the rendering.

    Turn off rendering quality enable to ignore Convergence Ratio, set Max Time and Max Samples to -1 (you will need to click the gear icon on the slider>Parameter Settings and set the Min value to -1).

    Oh, how cool! I knew about the Max time, but had no idea you could finesse the samples like that.
