Where does that new Autofit Genesis to Genesis 2 tutorial install to?

I've installed hundreds of content items, both Poser and DAZ|Studio, and they always end up where I expect them to, or at least where I can find them. This new tutorial is nowhere to be found, and in fact I can't even seem to find the start menu icon for it - it seems as though it isn't installing, despite saying that it has. To make things even more interesting, the online readme is a 404.

Of course, it is quite obvious what the real problem is: the tutorial comes as an old-fashioned installer EXE file, rather than a ZIP archive that one can simply extract wherever one likes. WHY!?

Because it isn't content, it's an interactive lesson plugin for DAZ Studio. You need to have DS 4.6.3.xx. In the lower right corner is the Lesson Strip -- it will appear under Interactive Lessons.

Except that it's not there. I've actually found the uninstaller, but the tutorial itself is MIA. I figured it should be in the Interactive Lessons, but all I have there are "Barefoot Dancer" and "Finding, Loading and Manipulating Content".

Nevermind. I'll just uninstall the tutorial from whatever limbo it's hiding in, since I don't need it. I have to say, this is quite hilarious - it was infinitely easier to figure out how to do what the tutorial was supposed to teach me, than to locate and use the tutorial itself. This is a good thing (as it means DAZ|Studio is very intuitively constructed), unless you're the person who put together the installer :/

I noticed if DS4 is up and running when the tutorials are installed, they won't show up in the Interactive Lessons drop down list until DS4 is exited and restarted.

I was restarting after each install, and that's exactly where I was looking.

As stated above only DAZ Studio 4.6.3 will run the interactive lessons are you using that Version of DAZ Studio?

    - These wouldn't show up if I didn't have 4.6.3.XX

I'm not trying to be rude, I'm trying to figure out why something that claims to have installed, has not. As also stated above ("... in fact I can’t even seem to find the start menu icon for it"), I ticked "create Start Menu icon", and it didn't make one, so that's another clear sign that something is wrong with the installer.

In Windows, each interactive lesson is installed in individual lesson folders in:

    C:\Program Files\DAZ 3D\DAZStudio4\resources\Lesson Strips\Interactive\Interactive Lessons

If the Autofit lessons are in there and you don't see them, I suggest a problem report is in order.

If the Autofit lessons are not there, I'd check your application path for DS 4.5+ in the DIM configuration settings.

Has anyone tried these yet? Both new ones come up shaded in blue - makes very hard to read - and if you try to follow them they stop at clearing the screen and then go no further.

I know how to use the Autofit, but I was just wondering if there was anything new I could learn!!

Just tried both and they are working for me, just like the earlier ones. I'm using DS 4.6.3.50 on Win 8
