And more promos...
Is there a chance to se promos without the LAMH fur, for those of us that can not use it? He do look awesome but knowing I can't use LAMH makes me want to know how he looks without the fur so to say
Sure, let me do a render...
Place your bets on how long it will take someone to post a render of Rocket Raccoon from "Guardians of the Galaxy". I'm guessing four hours, max.
There you go, LAMH vs. "naked" model. I'll ask DAZ to include this image in the product promos...
Of course if you are willing to investigate why LAMH isn't working on your system (have you tried the player too?), I'm always available at "info@alessandromastronardi.com"
Thank you for render :) we did try to figure it out but neither you or I could find what it was that made it crash my Studio to desktop :( It was the free player by the way, I don't really have the economical situation to buy the real LAMH, especially with the problems the free one causes for me :(
I'll give it another try, and see if I can get hold of the error report if it crashes
edit - I am happily surprised, decided to try out the white tiger with the lamh fur (still free player) so I downloaded and installed the latest version of the free player, which I admit I had not actually tried before since I was certain it was something with my computer that was the cause. Still not sure what it was, but at the moment I am rendering a scene with the furry white tiger, and has yet to crash *happy* Before I could not even open a fur preset alone, without scene and lighting. So I am happy and the Racoon will be happy too when he get to keep his fur *grins*
not quite what you wanted and needs work
but I furred the critter up in carrara for an animation I am rendering

Ok, let me know if you need some help. Perhaps with latest LAMH Player version it will work... I hope

heh seems we were writing at around the same time, did a little update in my former post :) currently 47% into the render with no problems *happy*
Excellent work as usual, you're really talented. And my favorite artist too.

Very good, I hope it will work for you from now on.
Also because, I must say, that the "naked" raccoon looks very sad to me.

I'm in agreement with you that the naked racoon looks sad, still cute tough.. but the furry one certainly looks better :) Don't wnat to post the white tiger render here, since it's the wrong thread so only going to post the link (member ofrums) - http://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/42100/P15/#619998
Took about an hour to render, which was faster than I expected. So glad Itook the chance and test the free player again *happy* Now to render racoons... already has idea *grin*
Cool render, thanks for showing it!
Here is a render done in Vue by my friend Massi-San, which is really a talented artist. Take a look at his Deviantart Gallery: http://massi-san.deviantart.com/
Wendy, did you get the morphs to work?
They're not working for me in Carrara
lol! never thought to try :red: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jigHdANlttQ
Really beautiful figure and fur! :)
Lovely render, great that you've put so many raccoons all together! Is it a Studio render?

Yes, it´s rendered in DAZ Studio 4.6. Used UE2, one Area light and one distant light.
Started the final render before going to bed and it was already finished in the morning.
Even with three fured raccoons it seems to be normal render times at my usual workflow. ;-)

Great to hear that. I've seen also the Sabertooth render you've done, and it's simply spectacular, you are very talented at making these compositions.

Thank you very much for this compliment! :red:
Just for the records, I had similar problems like Carola mentioned earlyier in this thread. Still working with DAZ Studio Vers. 4.6.0.18 and the latest LAMH free Player. Nowadays the free player seems to work fine without crashes. Besides Windows Updates there was nothing changed, neither hard or software.
Since the player works fine, more fury renders will come sooner or later! ;-)
"This guy can't be up to anything good."
Wanted to try a realistic render using the LAMH Raccoon in Yosemite but he ended up in Monterey! This is just the first, quick stab at it and I think it is looking promising. Rendered in DAZ (latest DIM Update) using the shadow catcher on DimensionTheory's HDR Pro Sets Monterey BBQ scene with Eruanna AOIBL Lights added in. Working on more renders with this set up now and having a BLAST! Thanks for providing this AWESOME Raccoon with LAMH!
@Alessandro_AM
There is a problem with the racoon and Carrara 8.5
None of the morphs work.. doesn't matter if I use the DS or the Poser version
The poses that come with it do work ok but not the morphs.
can you get your Carrara mate to test as to why the basic morphs don't work in Carrara thanks
Aiko 6 and the racoon
Lovely image!
Mmmhh sorry about that but i do not have Carrara so i could not really test that. Do you have any other of my animals that have the same issue with Carrara?
yep.. I have several of your products
Crocodilia2
Crocodile morphs work
Gharial morphs don't work
Kangaroo morphs work ok
and the Racoon morphs which don't work..
Ok, i think i know why that happens. I will send you the link to a test .cr2 version that should address it.
ok... no pm recieved as yet.. ;-)
Please drop me a line at "info@alessandromastronardi.com" and I will email you the .cr2 that should be compliant with Carrara.
