Saving Presets outside the library?

I like to keep all my project files in a folder structure on a seaparate drive which is not part of the DAZ content library. However, there are times when I need to save presets such as pose, character or properties presets but it seems to be a requirement for those to be within the DAZ library. Am I missing a trick? Is there a way to locate presets outside of the library?

NVM - the answer was obvious. Just create a new base directory in the DAZ Studio Formats folder tree. This has niggled at me for years, I can't believe I didn't think of doing this before. Doh!

Yes, lots of people want to have their own creations in a separate library. Some people put freebies in a separate library. Daz Studio handles it all seamlessly.

You can create a seperate library just for your own content if you like as it will allow you to use it directly in Daz Studio.  However, you dont need a new content library because presets can be saved anywhere on your HDD and you can load them from that same location using the Merge option.

Interesting. I had assumed that merge was just for scenes - never occurred to me that I could merge presets. I think I prefer the sub-library now but thanks for the tip.
