Windows not Activated

I see now that Windows is not activated but i cant find my Key. What happens to DAZ files and folders
if i reinstall a new Windows to my computer. And can my problem with opening DAZ have to do with
Windows not being activated?

you just need a key AFAIK if not the one you had then buy a new one

its often on a sticker on your case if not on your installation disc

bit odd if you are using your computer though, I suspect something with your user account going on

if you added new hardware it often just needs to be  reauthenticated

I remember getting that message once, just needed signing into my Microsoft account

If you reinstall any OS, it wipes the computer clean.

To activate Windows requires that trip to Microsoft to let it check. As Wendy said, there should be a key label glued someplace on your computer or with the installation disk. If you can't find a key anywhere, contact whoever built it and ask them where they put it ;-)

If it is that the proper key was applied when the computer was built then Microsoft will find it and do it's thing.

If Windows is not activated yes it will at some point in time cease to fully function. If it is opening other programs then no, it is not going to pick solely on D/S.

If your version of Windows 10 was obtained as a free upgrade to Windows 7, etc., then you will not have a product key to enter when prompted. The product key for Windows 10 in that case is stored on the Microsoft servers, and is tied to your hardware. Re-authentication involves connecting to that server so the key can be re-initiated. Have you had a problem with your internet connection recently?
