Layered Image Editor rendering weird *solved*

I can't get the images I add to show up properly in Iray.

They look very faint and ghostly.

Any idea on what could be wrong?

Try adding it to the translucency image also.

Also, make sure to layer them correctly and try different blend styles (alpha, additive, subtractive, multiplicative) for the various layers.

Indeed, this is often caused by the translucency channel. You can either add the image to that map as well or lower the translucency.
