Abandoned Subway Station

Has anyone bought and rendered the Abandoned Subway Station? I keep passing on it because it's really hard to tell what the textures look like since all the Promos use the denoiser quite heavily.

all that vendor's products are like that. I wonder how many customers they lose over the renders.
I honestly don't have any issues with the promos. the denoiser is part of DS and there are threads praising it's use, even though I never use it..
I have a few of their products wishlisted and hope to pick them up sooner than later
Can't help the OP though since I don't have that product, but it's one that is in my wishlist
Attached is a current render without any postwork or denoiser.
@lilweep, indeed, I noticed that as well.
@FSMCDesigns, I don't mind promos using denoiser (I've used it as well) but I tend to only use it for art renders. I want people to see the textures I'm creating as much as possible so that they know what they are buying. I just wished environments could give us a couple of renders without any denoiser or used after a certain amount (1000+) iterations so enough detail is still preserved.
@modeller, thank you very much, this helps a lot to make my decision!
Probably more than a few. I know this is a DAZ Original, so speed to market may be more of a priority, but hiding the actual textures of the product (when they're good, that is) is a poor move marketing wise... especially when the denoiser is so heavy that it's rendering chain link to look like a braided rope. And what is this, around the 12th subway station currently on sale in just the DAZ store alone?
And honesty none of them are that great. Quality over quantity would be preferable.
The cyberpunk one is quite good but im not a fan of the ground and wall textures - and the seams of them make them quite difficult to replace with new shaders.
I let this run while we were eating no post work or denoiser, 3 ghost lights and the emissives it comes with
Interesting, thank you, @Scorpio. I was worried about the texture quality of the ground, as I have a tendency of setting the camera sometimes near the ground. But it looks alright in your render.
I wouldn't mind so much if it was only one or two artistic ones that used it like FenixPhoenix said, but when eveything but the "clay" render uses it, it's impossible to judge texture/shader quality. People should vote with their wallets I guess. Sure, the return policy is good here, but one really shouldn't have to buy something just to see what it actually looks like. The denoiser as it is now, should be counted as post work IMO.
I agree. Daz can refund our the purchase price, but our time, well, not mine, but some people's time has value, too.
