models seem to have too much Red

When I make my models, doesn't matter which one, the face always seems to have too much red and looks dark when rendered. I recently did a picture with Victoria 6 as an Amazon woman in a jungle scene. when I rendered her body looked OK but her face was reddish, I could not tell if it was a shadow so I made a key light on her face but that only washed out her lips and made it worse. I tried turning down the absorb red and lowered the specularity and reflection but that only made the render dark. (sorry for the bad spelling)

If anyone has any ideas on what's going of or if they have seen it and fixed it I would appreciate your help. I have attached the last render for you to see what I'm talking about.

It sounds as if you are using one of the SSS shaders in DAZ Studio. Do you have lights that are not set to cast shadows, especially shining from behind the figure?

It looks like you were right on the shader. I did not put it there but there it was. It was at full, I turned ot down to zero and the renders look way better. Now, I need to really work on the lighting. Thank you for your help.
