How to combine props

I am making a "super suit" wearable with a weapon on the arm that has a posable hose connecting the weapon to a tank on the back. I used the "flex pipe" product from the daz store and some other props to make the model. The problem is when i try to move the arm the hose will move off of the tank if i parent the hose to the weapon and vice versa if i parent to the tank. This will be for an animation so it will need to be able to move. How can i connect the hose to both props?
