How do I uninstall DAZ Studio for 100% original start.

I Uninstalled with DIM and reinstalled with DIM it was the same as before i uninstalled.So it did not work for what I need.

I need to get DAZ Studio back to how it originaling download before the folders got thrashed.

I need the original DAZ Studio where all the folders are there and have never been altered.

How do we do that ? Thanks

On Windows?  After uninstalling, go to Users\[yourname]\App Data\Roaming\DAZ 3D\ and delete the Studio4 folder (or "Studio4 Public Build" for the beta).  Make a backup in case there are custom actions or layouts you may want.  If you want to delete the CMS database also, that will be the CMS folder there.  App Data is normally hidden so you may need to set your Folder Items to show Hidden and System files and folders.

That's because the content files, content database, and content folder settings are supposed to be preserved through uninstall/reinstall.

Before uninstalling, you need to go into the Content Library Options menu, select the database controls menu, and select Reset Database. Then go into the Content Directory Manager dialog and remove all the non-default folder locations. Now you should be able to uninstall/reinstall and have those changes stick.
