Mixamo Animations to Gen 3 figures

FYI you must have GRAPHMATE or Daz Studio 4.12 or higher to do this.  I have found using GRAPHMATE to be faster becuase I can copy and paste multiple animation frames from multiple Parameters at once. Also, watch this video 1st to learn how to import Mixamo to Genesis 2 figures. It will help you and make things go smoother. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tB6Iki3Sn3I

How To Convert Mixamo Animations to Genesis 3 Figures

Step 1

Export a Genesis 2 figure from Daz as an FBX. Upload Genesis 2 FBX figure to Mixamo. Choose your animation and download as FBX

Step 2

Import the Mixamo FBX animation into Daz Studio.

Step 3

Save animation as a Pose preset.

Step 4

Open a Gen 3 figure. Move Gen 3 Hip center of gravity bone to the floor. For more info on how to do this, watch this video on importing mixamo for Gen2 figures. At 12:21 he explains this manuever...https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tB6Iki3Sn3I

Step 5

Apply recently saved pose animation to the Gen 3 figure. Do not delete Gen 2/Mixamo figure, you will need it.

Step 5

In Parameters and Graphmate, individually copy the Rt and Lft Arm, Forearm and Leg "Twist" animation frames in Graphmate from the Gen2/Mixamo figure to Gen3 figure. This will help stabalize the animation.

Step 7

To stabalize competely...Copy X,Y,Z Translate and X,Y,Z Rotate animation frames from root node using Graphmate. After copied you must DELETE the animation frames from the root node.

Step 8

Select Hip node and paste X,Y,Z Translate and X,Y,Z Rotate animation frames using Graphmate

Step 9

Done! The animation should be competely stablized. You can also save these animations as an Aniblock for the Gen 3 Characters if you like.

Hope this is a help to y'all!
