Problem with Linda Ponytail Hair

Hi,
Just bought Linda Ponytail hair and I have a problem (see attached).
This is just a default fit in Ellithia, no dials yet, but I tried with another Sangriart character and I had the same issue.
This is what I did step by step:
1. Fire Daz
2. Load character
3. Select character
4. Load Linda ponytail (hair was parented automatically)
5. Silghtly posed and hit render.
Anyone has any idea what's happening here?

Its got to do with the geometry of the hair cap intersecting g8f geometry. Bump up the scale just a little should fix it.
I beleive you. I just think it's strange since I own several characters and different hairstyles and this is a first.
This has been an issue for a little while - the skullcap and the forehead are not playing well together.
It depends on how much you shape the head, and move it outside of the expected head shape, I guess.
I have this with several characters and several hairstyles. Expand 3% usually fixes it.
This is fairly common and most or all of OOT's hair products come with fine adjustments, you usually don't need to Adjust All. I usually bump up Forehead Depth and sides by 10-15%.
If you shift to Smooth Shaded you'll usually see that the cap looks broken, you just adjust it then until it looks complete:

Thank you, that also helped.
I have a different issue with the same hair model. I'm using the default settings but, when I render, it all goes white! By and large, I'm still a 3Delight man, so I'm lost on all the IRay properties. Which properties need tweaking here?
Adjust Forehead Depth on the hair 3% - 5%, just enough to make the artifacts go away. Happens with most OOT hair if there is any kind of expression on the face.
All the adjustments are not necessary. You only need to Change the Render Settings:
Render Settings -> Optimization -> Instancing Optimization from "Auto" (the default) to "Speed"

Did you apply the "Apply first" material? I can't check right now for that specific hair but I know some OOT hair does that.

I did try the "Apply first" material. I think my problem was really trying to render in 3Delight an Iray material. Since there was no 3Delight material option, what I wound up doing was applying a 3Delight anime shader to the hair sections, just to get it in "3Delight mode". And from there I brought back the OOT materials and the rendering process than recognized the hair instead of whiting it all out.
Thank you guys for all your input!
Thsi happens ot me now and then. What I do is select the hair then use the Adjust morphs and increase the Adjust-Forehead Depth slightly higher. Those marks disappear.
Another way this can be fixed is with Mesh Grabber. It's not needed with OOT hair because it has so many adjustments, but I found it useful on one style that I couldn't get to work any other way.
