Genesis/Genesis 2 Frustration

I would appreciate some help if anyone has a moment.

Nothing ever seems clean cut with Daz and i find there's too much guess work and not enough explained as to what you need.

With Genesis one I have Victoria5, V5 SuperModel, Basic male, Basic Female and basic child.
All these can be used on Genesis one and options are located on the left panel.

I am now on to Genesis 2 and see instread of one we have now a male and a female.
G2 is not on the left but in the contents folder on the right. Confusing.
With Genesis two now loaded in and it seems I have little or no parameteres for changing face shape or adding child or what have you.
Wanting to make a decent and up to date male, I purchased Gianni 6 thinking it would allow me options to have full body morphs and be all felaxble. But it seems Gianni 6 is just that. One buff dude.

Can some one explain what I need to buy to get a fully morphable Genesis Two Male. (which can then be applied to G3 female).

And why does G2 not show up on the left content panel?

Should I hav epurchased Michael over Gianni or am I missing some beat here? My guy below is Gianni 6 and I actually don't care much for his shape.

    I'm assuming your 'left' panel is the parameters and your 'right' panel is the content library (not everybody uses the same setup).
    G2F/G2M don't show up under parameters because they are new base figures (similar to V4/M4/Genesis 1), not morphs.

    Gianni wouldn't give you a whole slew of new morphs for G2M. Just like M5 didn't give you a whole slew of new morphs for Genesis.

    G2F's version of morphs++: http://www.daz3d.com/genesis-2-female-morphs-bundle
    G2M's version of morphs++: http://www.daz3d.com/genesis-2-male-s-morphs-bundle

    With G2F/G2M, figures and morphs are back to being separate like they are with V4/M4. You'd need to use GenX2 to get morphs back and forth between G2F/G2M.
    GenX2: http://www.daz3d.com/genesis-generation-x2
    GenX2 Genesis 2 plugin: http://www.daz3d.com/genx2-addon-for-genesis-2

    I don't know what you mean by G3 female. Genesis 3 doesn't exist.

    Thanks for the reply. It's so long between Genesis and Genesis 2 that I had forgotten that I need to get all the morphs for the figures. I wish the web store gave you a better clue or recommendations as to what you need to fully explore the figure.

    Thanks for your help, I will totally check out that plug in. I have a very elaborate figure made using G1 and V5. Will this allow me to bring the same morphs I have there to a G2Female?

    Groovey thanks man.

    So I see you post some tutorials. Are you like the Don on Daz then?!

    You might have me pegged as an ametuer given what you might see as obvious questions but please have a look at my work: www.eamonart.com

    There are few more niggley questions I would love answered so i would love to be able to pic your brain on occasion but would like to be able to return the favour in some way.

    If you want to turn genesis 2 into a teenager or child then you will need one or both of the following:

    Growing up for:
    * males
    * females

    The head and body morphs are at:
    Male morphs bundle
    female morph bundle

    Hope this helps.
