What exactly does the PostgreSQL update?

So what exactly changes the introduction of PostgreSQL to DS? Do I have to configure something? So far DIM installed everything.

I read http://docs.daz3d.com/doku.php/public/read_me/index/18869/start but that page does not "enlighten" me that much. All I leant was that it replaces the old database manager.

I am kinda confused.

    PostgreSQL replace the Valentina database that required the CMS to work with it.

    If you have changed to PostgreSQL, and you don't use Carrara, then you no longer need CMS. If you also use Carrara, you should not change to the PostgreSQL just yet, as Carrara need the CMS and Valentina at the moment for it's Smart Content.
