Are there separate mat zones on the outfit Zhu Que?

Would anyone who ownes Zhu Que : https://www.daz3d.com/zhuque--the-red-phoenix-outfit-for-genesis-8-females, post if there are mat zones on the armor? For example are the boots all one zone?I think it would be great with different textures but don't have the time to go in and seperate everything out right now...

Afraid there aren't any mat zones, each piece is a single mat zone.

Oh, that sucks, thank you for your reply!

Seems to be the case across all the products from that artist. Pity as they'd be so much more usable if the mat zones were set up.

You can always create new material zones with the geometry editor, I do it often and don't even worry about lack of material zones any more.

I had considered that, but the mesh is pretty dense and until I can get my desk set back up (just moved) I'm doing everything with the track pad on my laptop. Not the ideal tool for such work. Still, will likely do that for all three sets I've got from Jerry Jang as they are a nifty style and giving them the added flexibility of material zones will make them much more useful.

Yes, I will create new mat zones later- but I'm hella slow with the geometry editor-I'm stuck working with a mouse at the moment. I agree with you, TesseractSpace, that Jang's suits have a neat style.

I was looking up something, and I saw that the Green Dragon was actually published on Rendo a while ago.

He also has a whole Sentai group there.

    (More stuff for the wishlist...)

  • Hmm, text on Daz products indicates a cyan dragon is yet to come, but the set could easily be complete with the green dragon... someday I'll need to sit down and take the time to put material zones on all of these...

Is there any guide around on how that's achieved? I'm not very good with the geometry editor yet.

Would love to see that also! I just stumble around with it at a snails pace and it is soo useful...
