Morphing only specific body parts

I have a pretty basic question. When using Daz Studio is is possible to only morph a specific body part instead of the whole thing.

I have a werewolf morph RAW GBW Werewolf for Genesis 8 male.  Is it possible only to morph the hands without any other part of the base genesis model also being morphed? The only time the werewolf sliders are present is for the Gen 8 figure or "actor" selection.

There's a way to do it manually, but i'm a bit rusty on that one.

The Shape splitter( https://www.daz3d.com/shape-splitter) script can do this, to an extent.

As long as there's no Hi definition morphs, or jcm's, it should work.
