I have to go back to Daz 4.9 to create a shot from an old project. I can't find the post controller I am used to. This is the round icon with rings around it in the upper left corner of the main pane. Did that not exist in 4.9? if it did where do I find it?
Check the tools tab to enable any tools. It's part of the node selection "tool" and you have to select a figure for it to show. there is the universal tool which allows you to move and rotate items
Thanks for the name. I click on it in Tools menu but it still doesn't appear...even when I select a character. Another quirk...again I haven't used 4.9 in a couple years...but when I click on the figure, it doesn not select the figure, but the set behind the figure.
but when I click on the figure, it doesn not select the figure, but the set behind the figure.
Check the line for your figure in the Scene pane. There should be an eye on the left (the Visibility toggle), the figure name in the middle, and in between a mouse-pointer arrow (the Selectable toggle). Check if the arrow has a tiny tick or "x" beside it, for switching on and off. It's much too easy to click on this accidentally and not notice; I still do it now and then.
