Lack of Expressiveness in Cartoon Character Expressions

I always get excited when a new toon character comes out, but ultimately find they lack real cartoon expressiveness....without a dedicated expression pack.

Once in a while we get lucky... I think back in Genesis2  "The Girl" had a rather expressive set, that came with it which had some real cartoon flavor, but that was it... (I'll post it if I can find it...)

There was a more recent set called Grimaces...that was good, for certain characters....

I'd love to see more animated expressions in the DAZ catalog..for more extreme emotion...

It seems that anything more than a subtle smile breaks most characters faces into something pretty unappealing.

It may be something that can only be achieved  outside the DAZ program...I'm not sure....

As a challenge..see if you can get these type of expressions shown...in most of your other DAZ characters... I bet you will find...it just doesn't work...which may be a place to focus on future products...

The bought almost everything I could get my hands on related to The Girl 8  Pro Bundles and there are quite a few good expressions there. Also the Edie 8 Pro Bundle and addons has quite a few good expressions. They mostly can be used on any character too, however if you use them on some or in addition have the Auto Face Enhancer product and turn that product on, then you'll find you need to dial down the expressions by less than 100%.

    This is great!

    I hope we see more!

The thing I notice with those expressions is how low the brows are and how generally tame  they are. Toon brows move around a lot and perhaps because the girl's eyes are bugging out so much there is no space for eyebrow. Whatever the case, I do agree they should work more on making a more malleable toon expression
