DS 4.12, Win8 and NVidia RTX cards

I have carelessly updated DS from version 11 to 12 (Windows 8.1 with GPU NVidia RTX 2080). Unfortunately IRAY does not work anymore. Since it was said that the minimum driver requirement is 430.86, I looked for an update, but my version 416.34 was shown on the NVidia homepage as the most current one. However, Google found a driver 431.60, with support for the RTX 2080 SUPER. I have installed this driver and it seems to work, but IRAY still shows a black (or transparent) screen in DAZ renders.
I have no idea what the reason for this is.
It can't be true that all Win8 users can't use DS build 12 anymore. Really need your help

nVidia should certainly offer you later drivers that that for a 2080.
Err, no, 416.34 is ancient. My latest "game ready" is 451.67. Are you sure you put the right thing at NVIDIA's website?
Oh, sorry, edit, Windows 8. That's a different story.
I guess my problem is Win8.
REQUIRES NVIDIA Driver 441.22 (or newer) on Windows for pre-Turing GPUs, 442.19 (or newer)
Really? I got other information. In that case all Win8 users will have to do the uninstall of DAZ 12, right?
You're right. 441.22 is minimum. No support for Win8. That's it. ByeBye DAZ
What do you guys think? Could it help to install a Win7 driver 451.67 on a Win8 system, or could there be conflicts?
I think you should either upgrade to Win 10, or obtain DS 11 from customer support.

It seems you are not alone
I have an RTX 2060 and for some reason Iray renders faster in DS 4.11 than in 4.12 in Windows 10. So I downgraded back down to 4.11.
