dForce Naomi's Lingerie Collection for Genesis 8 Female(s)

Hello. I have a problem with the product "dForce Naomi's Lingerie Collection for Genesis 8 Female(s)". I recently bought this product in the store and installed it regularly on Daz Studio, but I can't use it ..!
When I wear it on a model, the product remains immobile. It does not take the model's poses and it is not possible to make the default colors included with the dress.
Please help me! I am desperate...

  • Check that the garments are fitted to the figure. For the tops I think you will need to run the dForce simulation to see the natural effect.

I don't know dForce and therefore I don't know how to run a simulation. I thought it was a normal product to be used on all female genesis 8 figures.
Why is it not possible to simply wear it, choosing the color etc ..?

  • It should be, it doesn't say dForce only. But the first thing to do is check that it actually fitted to the figure - if it's made for dForce it may have parts thata re parented to the outfit that would, on a non-dForce item, would be part of it and as a result the materials may not be straight material;s presets, which work as long as the item is selected, but Hierarchical Materials presets, which work only if the item is parented to the correct base figure (Genesis 8 Female). So check fitting/parenting first.

I have checked based on what it says on the sales page, but I can't do anything else.
As I repeat I don't know how to use dForce. In truth I don't even know what it is and what it is for ..!
There isn't even a direct service to get you in touch with sellers.

  • Having looked at the set, some of the materials are in fact shader presets - you have, for example with the panties, to select both the model and its surface to apply the preset. Here are a couple of images, one with the Sweet top and Pantie 2 loaded - one of the materials presets applied to the top and the Antique shader applied to the Cloth surface of the panties. In the second I just clicked the Simulate button in the Simualtion Settings pane to use dForce.

And it still doesn't work ..! The shaders still don't apply and the other two dresses still don't work with the poses.
At this point I don't know what to think anymore; could the product be faulty? I'm certainly not going to continue throwing money like this .. !!

    No the product isn't faulty.

    dforce is dynamics.

Open the simulation settings tab, Windows>Panes(Tabs)>Simulation Settings and hit simulate.

There are several tutorials on utube for example

As for the shader presets not applying are you certain you have the item selected in both the scene tab and the surfaces tab.

  • The Flirty top does need either simulation or adjusting the bones of the clothing that are parented to the hip to work with bent legs, it won't fit those automatically (the top sections, however, should be following). For the pose shown above I used Left Front and Right Back to eliminate poke-through of the legs without using simulation.

Regarding the advice of scorpio, I had not thought of selecting the "surfaces" tab because with the clothes I have used up to now there was never any need. Now it works and so thanks!

As far as Richard says, should I act on every single part of the body at this point? At this rate it would take a month to perform a single pose. I am a beginner and maybe it is too difficult for me ..

You may need to adjust one or more of the four "handle" boens cotnrolling the lower sections of the "Flirty" top, depending on pose. Handles like this and morphs are fairly common ways of getting skirts/dresses/robes to drape on the legs (and may also be used for loose sleeves, scarfs, loincloths, and so on).

OK! I'll do some tests and see what happens. For the moment, thank you very much for the help and advice you have given me.
