[RESOLVED] How to fit (most but not all the) hair underneath a cap?

How to fit (most but not all the) hair underneath a cap?

I have tried lots of ways ("fit to", paramater adjustments of head width, height, etc etc) but have been unable to conceal hair under a cap, only allowing the hair to protrude behind the neck etc as in real life. How do you guys go about doing it?

For instance, I have been trying to get Axel Hair to conceal beneath the MSS Hat (from the Frontline Bundle) and only allowing the hair to protrude at the behind-neck area. Looking at the promo pics in the medica scrubs product, all the characters are bald which doesn't make realistic sense...
