Has anyone any observerations to make about Charactor Creator 3 and Headshot. I bumped into those  programs today and read the promotional literature. They look promising, but I'd like second opinions from people more familiar with them. My intention if to use them to modify and develop character meshes for use in DAZ Studio and Poser. Will they help me accomplish that goal or are these programs strictly intended for IClone and games?  Thanks for your replies.

Both are really for other apps and not DS.

they may work to an extent in Poser not so much in DAZ studio and need to be imported into Poser first and saved as cr2 figures.

You will have the same issues as using any later Poser content in DAZ studio, with the weight mapping and morphs.

They would be good for using in game engines like Unreal and Unity though.

For DAZ studio DAZ content is cheaper and works out the box.

@FSMCDesigns, thanks for asking. I have been very impressed by the promotional images of what can be done with the Headshot plug-in for Character Creator 3. I would like to create the heads of certain celebrities I admire. Audrey Hepburn, Dorothy Danbridge, Rita Hayworth, Grace Kelly, etc. stars from Hollywood's Golden Era. I was thinking of creating look-a-like character morphs with Headhsot and transferring the character back to Poser and/or DAZ Studio to pose in my own pin-up and red carpet shots. Character Creator 3 & Headshot seem just the ticket to accomplish that. Pricey at $US299, but cheaper than ZBrush at $US849.

Of course, if you know of other apps/plugins that can accomplish that goal at a more economical price, I'd be glad to hear of them. Cheers.
