How can I add items to my Smart Content
DIM is great and I love how it puts poses into the right categories (running, exercise, combat ect...) but some of my content isn't downloaded through Daz and I forget I have it. I'd like to add it to my smart content so I can get a better view of my library. Is there an easy way to do that?

Have the thing it is compatible with (the base figure for a pose) loaded into the scene and selected, then drag the files from the Content Library pane into the desired category in Smart Content.
Thanks Richard, that was much easier than I expected. I do have one problem though, I screwed it up :P
I was able to do some facial expressions which was great and then I thought, let's see if we can do hair! So I tried that and it worked. But then I selected all of the hair shades and put them in the hair folder too. Bad idea. How do I get them out of there and where do they actually go? I tried putting them in Materials>Iray>Hair and they got in the folder fine. But when I select the hair, those shades don't show up as options and I still have to go back into Content Library to change the hair color. Can you give me some advice?
How do I delete mistakes from Smart Content?
Where do I put the various materials that go with things like hair, props, clothing, characters?
Did you have the hair selected when you dragged them across? if not, redo with the hair selected. I'm not sure theer is a quick way (i.e. without going through the metadata editor) to remove a compatibility.
On the compatibility thing...okay. I'm glad I didn't go hog wild and do everything that way, I can scroll past some hair shades, no biggie.
I guess the only thing I'm TRULY concerned about having in smart content at this point is some wardrobe items. For instance, I have a mens business suit and the various parts of it come with different material options. How do I get that in smart content? The items themselves...check. Are you saying select the shirt, go to material options and drag them....where exactly? I'm guessing that principle will apply to everything else too.
Right, for materials you need to have the item they are materials for selected in the scene, then drag into the category you want them in. You can easily rcategorise stuff later if you get that bit wrong, or have second thoughts, via the right-click>Categorise menu - but the items have to be in some category to show in Smart Content.
