Hello,
I've just bought the alembic exporter from DAZ shop and tried to imort an animation in Blender.
I use Alembic in Poser11 too ,and it works fgreat, so I expected the same with this plugin in DAZ...
When importing in Blender, a red message: Alembic archive is obsolete HDF5 format is not supported...
Whats' wrong ? does the plugin work with Blender (last version) . It's more than boring, the plufgins cost 90$....

You might try an older version of Blender, failing that you may need to look at asking for a refund on the plug-in (assuming it was purchased in the last 30 days) and try another route.
The Mystery is the Point has compiled a plugin that works in Blender

@Richard please bring the alembic discussion to the blender forum since the work by @TheMysteryIsThePoint is focused on blender. And there's also z-cycles there by @JClave always for blender. It is a very important discussion and it really does not make sense to leave it in the daz studio forum.
