Certain skin textures sometimes not "seen" in renders...

Does anyone know what might cause certain skin textures to not be "seen" by DAZ during test or actual rendering? It sees the diffuse color, but not the texture images, though they are stil there in the LIE on the diffusion channel. I have tried to refresh images to no avail. Even restarting DAZ does not always help. Lost here.

Can you post the other settings on the Surface tab? It could be ambient or specular washing out the texture, or an unrecognized shader.
I have a feeling what you may be seeing is a known AoA shader bug. It's sometimes caused by 'undoing' a shader application and then reapplying it with 'redo', to give but one example. The result is that the render often gives a pure-diffuse figure, looking as thought the ambient has been maxed out.
A good way to fix this if you're getting this problem is to simply reapply the AoA subsurface base shader to the figure you're having problems with. This effectively 'resets' the base code but doesn't change any of the actual settings, so you keep your skin. Give it a try and let me know if that fixes your issue.
