    If you have the same issue again, look at the top of the Surfaces pane. It tells you there whether the shader type is Iray or not.

  • I seem to be having trouble getting rid of the gloss from the road, used the Iray Uber Base shader like before but its not working, its still like this

    What changes are you making after applying Iray Uber Base? Remember, it doesn't actually change materials settings — one big advantage of applying the shader before rendering is that you get more control over the final result, unlike what happens with the auto-conversion.

    For the road gloss, it should be the same solution I mentioned on the previous page; turn Glossy Layered Weight way down and Glossy Roughness up a bit.

    AAh I see thats it, its working now thanks, thought I had done that step you said earlier but must have missed it somehow
