Map Transfer, am I missing a step?

Since I can't seem to find any documentation (or even a damn video on this)
I'd like to move a K4 texture to V5 so I can use it on G2F (with huge amounts of the Growing Up morph). I want to create a character's daughter who basically is the same character with a different (kids) texture applied and substantially younger.
So here's what I've done so far...
* Load the required K4 texture onto Genesis
* Set UV to K4
* Go to Map Transfer
* Created a Template with where I want the files saved. I left everything else as default.
* Saved Template
* Selected all surfaces in the Map Transfer tab (I've also tried it with just the face surfaces)
* Set Target UV to Victoria 5
* Hit accept.
At which point the progress window flashes up for a second or so, then vanishes, and there is nothing in the destination folder, and no change to Genesis.
So either I'm missing something (very likely) or my copy of the Map Transfer plug in isn't working.

To use map transfer,
you need to set each surface group in template.
(drug surface group from right, under the template which you made)
then when you make template,
you can not include surface group which use different textures .
that means,, eg when I need to transfer maps of faces,
I can set templaet1 as face, lips, nostris.
most of case, these three surface use same texture for each shader property.
then you can transfer, diffuse, bump, specular, maps etc,,
but you can not include other part (eg torso or forarms ) surface group. in template1.
because, used texture should be different.
if you gather all surface group as one template,, usually map transfer can not work correctly.
but if you clearly divided group (which use same texture maps) and set template,
it must work without problem.
simply, gather surface group which used same textures into one template.
then transfer map each template one by one seems best for me.
And,, after transfer each map for anotherUV, we need manually add (load and apply)
each texture for each property of current shader.
(diffuse, bump, specular, etc) in surface tab. then we must need to change UV to new one.
Map transfer can not auto change and apply full map for figures.
simply transfer each texture of each parts only
(though it is useful,, eg I can use speclar maps,,( made for V4 UV) with AIko6 UV mats,,.
Ah. That's what was missing. Dragging the textures to the Template (and needing multiple templates)

Does anyone have luck with map transfer, everytime I try it it doesn't work, it seems like it's just copying the maps as they fit on the uv they are meant for and not the target, it runs for like 4 seconds and it's done
I've run into that too. At the moment, I'm not even getting an option to select target uv's for my template. What's up with that?
Edit: Well, it helps to keep poking at it. Loaded my materials to a new figure and the available sufaces showed up. Seems to be working now. ... or not. Everything came out black. What is the proper setup for baking? ... Ah, I see. I forgot to switch back to 3Delight! Man, it's been that long since I tried to do this!
