I'm sure that this question has been addressed already in the Forums, but my search-fu has thus far been weak.

I'm a grognard who has clung tenaciously to DS 2.3. Is 2.3 compatible with Windows 8?

Thanks!

I would think any one running W8 is using DS 3 or 4 .
Any reason you can't use DS 4 ?

Well, the short answer is "I don't want to": 2.3 does what I need it to do, I like and am accustomed to the interface, and I've had no compelling reason to upgrade. But I have a new Windows 8 machine, so I'd like to know ahead of time if the stuff I already have is compatible with it.

I've noticed that the preview is weird with newer graphics cards.

But everything else otherwise seems to work?

Sorry, that comment was independent of Win8, I'm just assuming a Win8 computer would have a new graphics card. I don't have a Win8 machine to test,, but Ive seen that on Win7.
