How to render fur?

I am not new to daz but I am new to some products. I currently the Yeti Hd for Gen 8 Male and Wolfbeast. Both have dForce fur and I do not know how to see them in the iray preview. I know it's something simple but I can't find the button to hit or parameter to change. Please can someone help?

for dforce or other strand based hair in daz there are two settings that need to be on to view them in preview.

select the fur in the scene panel then

under parameters>simulation >preview pr hairs, make sure this is on

and parameters>line Tesselation>Viewport Line tesselation sides, this must be 2 or higher, ideally set it to the same as the render line tesselation sides option

the fur should then show up in your iray preview
