Problem with content after reinstalling DS

Hi,

I have installed DS4 on a newly installed Win10 computer. I migrated my old database (I've worked hard to organize it so don't want to lose it), but found only the directories worked, no files. Well, I checked the file and I had to change the drive letter from C: to G: (originally was C:). I migrated again, but still no files. Why is this?

Right, now some of the files I find with search or browsing through various content directories (very cumbersome). But some are not found with either method. Yet all the files are there. I loaded an old scene with a certain V4 clothing, everything works. But when I search for this clothing in the content, it can't be found. What is going on here??

And I must confess, so far after many years I've never found the smart content useful. It works with new Genesis stuff, but not with my old stuff which I mostly use. That's why I would like to have my old database working. Any help appreciated!

It sounds like a permissions or virtual store issue.  Can you check the permissions on your Data folder and your ContentCluster folder?  What security software are you using?

Thanks for the suggestion. I updated my question after your response, please check it. So all the files are working in the scene files, but many can't be found with content search. And in the migrated categories no files.

I'm using Total AV protection. Maybe I should disable it and check if it helps.

How do you install content?

Did you login from inside DS?

Did you migrate your database using Export User Data/Re-Import or did you move the ContentCluster folder?

Can you post your DS Content Directory Manager settings with the 4 sections expanded?
