All my downloads are failing... [Fixed]

Greetings,

There was an update for DAZ Install Manager, but my current one couldn't download it.  So I downloaded it directly, figuring that maybe it changed.  But no, it can't download any updates or new items.

So...I'm not sure what's going wrong.  The log says 'SSL Handshake Failed'.  Specifically:

WARNING: Network Error:  : SSL handshake failed

Any...information you could provide would be appreciated.

Edit: Yes, also a Mac.

  • Both Macs? I just tried and it's working for me on Windows.

Same here, DIM won't download anything at all.

Update: downloading works fine through Daz Studio's "Install" though.

I put in a trouble ticket last night on this issue with my Mac mini and have now installed DIM on my MacBook (that never had DIM/Daz Studio installed on it) to see what happens on a fresh install.

DIM throws the same error with the failed downloads and the log file lists the SSL error mentioned above.

It's failing on both Mac OS Sierra and Catalina (newest version).

I'm having the same Mac issue. Everything worked fine on Wednesday, that was the last time I used DIM. Installed content from other sites manually yesterday as I usually do with content not purchased from Daz. This morning tried to used DIM for content purchased through Daz and get the error. Seems to me something related to Mac's using DIM was changed or broke on Daz Studios site between Thursday and now.

Same here. It was working fine on Wednesday and last night the failures started.

Someone needs to get on this. Now.  I'm waiting to purchase and download a bunch of stuff in my wishlist from the current sale.  This is the second time I've had issues with downloading purchased products in the past month or so. DAZ corrected the last problem in a couple of days, let's see how long it takes for this to get resolved.

I'm running El Capitan (10.11.6) and have no issues downloading. FWIW.

Awesome news! I just checked and DIM is downloading again! Very happy.  Thanks for letting us know, Sven Dullah.

I'm off to move stuff from wishlist to cart now!

    Greetings,

Downloads were working for me as of around 5 hours ago, but I had to run...  Thanks so much for getting that fixed!
