How to erase an edge?

How can I erase an edge created with the tessellation tool by mistake?

I can't find how to do it if that action was done in an already stored project or in past stages without having to undo it.

I'm using Hexagon 2.5.2.109. Some instruction I have for hexagon 2.1 uses the delete button or space bar, but with hexagon 2.5 this action erases the faces.

Select the line or loop of lines that you want to erase and use the backspace key. Select "all" only IF there are no common points with other corners. If there are, then select stray only. If you have any dots all by themselves on the line, they need to removed as well. Backspace key may do that. If it doesn't, then weld the stray dot to the nearest corner.

    In this case select all.png

The backspace key doesn't work as such but... I must do Edit-Dissolve menu. Thanks again.

Okay, is that a Mac thing? Backspace key is what does this on Windows.
