DAZ logo usable?

Hello, short question: is it allowed to use the DAZ logo as a little symbol on the thumbnail for an animation video on youtube? Did just my first animate2/marvelousdesigner clip and want to make a nice eye catcher for it.

    they are a bit picky about their logos

    was a lot about it a few years ago when some made DAZ iray etc  templates to add to render like the PAs in the store use in promos

    basically we were told no

    I am actually wary now about using word DAZ even in anyway in a render video or image (other than in a title if tute, a credit list or description) let alone the logo.

    No, that would not be allowed I'm pretty sure.

    @WendyLuvsCatz That's too bad. Thanks, I thought it would look good on a thumbnail. In the credits at the end I also listed DAZ. But I guess that's no problem then.

    credits good but I wouldn't have a "DAZ" poster or shop name etc in a video for example same as I wouldn't have a can with the CocaCola logo.

    You certainly can use it in the tiltle refering to usage as in "I rendered this silly video using awesome models from DAZ 3D! wink"

    They gave us some "rendered in ...." stamps that we could add to our work some time way back when. Some of us have them and obviously some don't, but I don't think we're allowed to share those.

    Just relocated them, so if we are allowed to share these watermarks, somebody let me know ;-)

    They include for: Bryce, Carrara, Hexagon and 4 for Daz Studio.

    yes it was people creating updated versions of those that got the reaction

    I would have thought charging people to remove the logo would be more likely than griping at people for having it.

    If your a Daz Affiliate https://www.daz3d.com/community/community-affiliate-program then you are allowed a daz3d icon for your website they will provide you a script for icon & a ad banner. script, you just add to the html of your site..  if you want to use the daz icon on your YouTube channels I suggest simply subscribing to the daz YouTube channel and the daz icon will be place on your YouTube channel showing you are daz 3d subscriber  , You can use #DazStudioAnimation for your video descriptions for twitter,YouTube,or Facebook to keyword your animation video for it to show up as a artist created daz studio animation if someone searches for the term "daz studio animations"  Also if you do a hard link to your daz studio art page or gallery the daz favoricon will automatically show up because of the Daz Favorite Icon=favoicon  or the book mark icon is part of the Daz3d.com URL so hard linking from daz 3d.com off your gallery or art thread page to your website or youtube about page will activate the icon automatically with no violations

    Any other uses of the daz3d icon is not permitted like Wendy said they are pretty picky on how their icon is used, they don't want their symbols used misappropriate you have to be pretty much a registered affiliate or become a Pa & they will give you a Daz3d  water marks,icons and scripts for banner ads.   CS gave me 25x25 one for my website. when i registered. But when in doubt best to contact them and ask the best way for you to handle it.
