scale HDRI domes?

Went over to HDRI Haven, got an outdoor scene, loaded the .hdr file into Render Settings -> Environment Map, loaded, but: I then added a prop, an entire lounge area and it was the size of a LEGO kit in comparison to the hdr image.
I switched dome from infinite to finite and tried changing Dome Scale and Radius, but they have no effect even with wild values.
I could scale the prop, but then I'd have to scale each and every item I add. Does not seem right. What can I do here?

You already mentioned some of the important settings. However did you try to change the Ground Texture Scale when working with Dome Mode: Finite Sphere w/ Ground
Try the following as a first setup for a car: https://hdrihaven.com/hdri/?h=derelict_highway_noon
Use the following render settings:
Dome Mode: Finite Sphere w/ Ground
Draw Dome: On
Dome Orientation: -55.0
Ground Texture Scale: 170
Add a camera and position it to the following coordinates:
X Translate: 0
Y Translate: 170
Z Translate: 0
X Rotate: -5
Y Rotate: 0
Z Rotate: 0
Add a car and move it in Z to about -660:
You should get something like this:
Instead of a car this should work with your lounge area, too.
Well, but what's the scaling option after all? Ground texture scale did not seem to do anything. (That's one late reply, sorry. Need to review notifications.)
