FBX export

I’m exporting a model from Daz Studio Pro 4.6 to Cinema 4D. I conform the clothing OK in Daz, but the adjustments made using handles to the dress don’t come over in the FBX export, and there are other problems of fit (see attached). I’m only making stills, so I can always fix things in post – but it would be good not to have to do that.

I thought it might be an import problem, but a C4D expert tells me : "I think the issue is the export from DAZ and not the FBX import. The FBX file format only supports actual geometry and blend shapes (morphs). A cloth simulation inside any application would need to be converted to the FBX supported geometry types on export before it will import correctly."

Any ideas gratefully received.

Thanks!

PS - see attached for DAZ Export settings.

I did then try enabling "Convert Clothing to Static Geometry" – but it didn't solve the problem.
