How to send a message?

This must be absurdly simple, but I couldn't figure out how to send a private message on DAZ. IN "messages" even though I have an inbox, I can't see an option to send a message.

    You can click on the name of the person you wish to PM and it will bring you to their profile. There's a message button on the upper right corner. Or you can go to directly to your inbox by clicking on the gear icon (in the blue bar, upper right, below your sign in) and then selecting inbox.

    Two ways.

    1. From your own Inbox click the "New Message" box - you need to know the username to send it to.

    2. From the forum, click on the username of one of their posts (takes you to their profile) then click "Message".

    there are some people you cannot message though, is a username conflict thing I think

    forgotten who it was but there is someone I run into this problem with frequently

    This should not happen.   The reason that some members found they had  alphabetti spaghetti added to the end of their user names was to make each user name unique.

    been a while now, it may have been fixed long ago enough I have forgotten the user

    @L'Adair is someone that I can't message unless i click her profile and send a message from there.
