LY Rory HD loads LY Rory Body and LY Rory Head morphs on all G8F

I have saved customized G8F characters (hair, textures, etc) as scene subsets.  After purchasing and installing LY Rory HD yesterday I find that loading any G8F character (from the saved scene subset) results in the LY Rory Body and LY Rory Head morphs being applied at 100%.  Easy enough to go. into the Shaping tab and dial the Rory head and body morphs back down to zero, but in my mind I shouldn't have to.

Is there a fix for this?  It's kind of a pain in the you know what.  Thanks.

    Maybe it is being fixed by Lyoness, but i still have a problem with my content.

    Why is this character still for sale if it has a known issue?

    You would need to put in a ticket to get an answer.  Daz are the only ones who can reply to your question knowledgeably, and they won't do it on the forums.

  • Okay, my immediate problem is fixed.  I uninstalled LY Rory HD using DAZ Install Manager and my content is back to normal.

    I have a ticket submitted for this, and shortly after I submitted it Lyoness informed me that there was already a fix in the pipeline.

    There's a user-end way to fix it, as pointed out by Sir Richard Haseltine in my thread here, his is the the first reply. It's a bit of a work-around until a proper update fixes it, but it does work, and it's a permanent fix, so you only have to do it once.

    There is an easier fix for that, one that the author does themselves.

    search for these lines in the "CTRL LY Rory" file and change the "value" :1 to "value" : 0.

    the file is found here: data\DAZ 3D\Genesis 8\Female\Morphs\Lyoness\LY Rory

    "CTRL_LY_Rory",
                    "label" : "LY Rory",
                    "auto_follow" : true,
                    "value" : 1,
                    "min" : 0,
                    "max" : 1,
                    "clamped" : true,

    takes all but a minute. hit save and close. relaunch daz. problem solved- permenantly on your end.
