Lightning Maker

I recently purchased "Lightning Maker" from DAZ which looks like a great special effects application that can produce many different lightning effects.  However, after repeatingly trying to get this tool to work, I am obviously missing something.  The botton line... No Lightning.  According to the instructions, the user must first pick the starting and ending points of the lightning path.  I've done this -many times- and also clicked on the selection of the type of lighting bolts, etc. Then you are supposed to "Start" the lighning program.  That is the point where it all stops and I have tried clicking on everything.  I don't see anything that says "This is how to start the Lightning Maker application."  I am stuck.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You are using new nulls, from teh Create menu, to mark the end points (I think that's how it works)?
