3Delight now renders silhouette

in Technical Help (nuts n bolts)

I used to be able to render in 3Delight without loading a light set, but now all it gives me is a silhouette. Did an upgrade automatically install, or did I screw something up? Is there a way to restore it?

    Is the camera's Use Headlamp parameter turned off? Is the environment in the Render panel set to Sun and Sky?

    Those are Iray parameters.

    I'm not using a camera either, but you got me on the right track

    Render Settings Pane > Editor Tab > General > Misc > Auto Headlamp

    Oops! My bad. Haven't used 3DL in ages (well, at least a year) so don't remember what parameters it does and doesn't offer.
