    So. Quick list:

    *Playing games. Many of them.

*Finished reading 'Halo: The Cole Protocol'. Read it overnight and the first book I was completely absorbed in since Artemis Fowl (Back in what, 8th or 9th grade?)

*Feeling much better today. Past few weeks were utter C R A P. Was feeling absolutely aweful. Boredom, slightly paranoid, lots of anxiety, was getting worked up and upset over the smallest things - many of which NEVER BOTHERED ME BEFORE - and was snapping at friends easily... Ugh, and not to mention the lack of sleep! Day 1, was awake for 25 hours before getting in bed. Day two, 21. Day three, well... Going through Day 3 right now. Seems to be another all-nighter.

*Doing things. Some writing and conceptualizing for some comic things, but not actually drawing or doing anything productive.

...well, messing with water again. This time nothing to do with refraction as it is trying to achieve a nice beach and sea setting. Was hoping to get close to what like one sees in photos of the Croatian/Dalmatian coast (see below), but just can't seem to get that kind if definition with the current water props I have.

For some reason, Nerd3D's Waves on the Beach doesn't seem to want to play nicely with Daz 4.. Spent way too much time trouble shooting so ditched it and am working with the water disk prop from Seascapes and First Bastion's Rolling plains (sand texture) as the beach. Unfortunately the water disk is too "solid" as it is supposed to represent deep water and there is no opacity slider since it uses either SSS or HSS.

I know what might work (Ultimo Paradiso), but don't have the funds to buy it.

...well it's 03:35 so have to turn in. Will wrestle with this tomorrow.

i think it's time of year for that bulls festival. they should let them wear safety helmets so the bulls don't accidentally hurt themselves.

Isn't it strange that all those bulls just spontaneously start stampeding down the streets every year? It looks like the people would anticipate it and just stay indoors on that day.

That would be capsaicin! :P Did you know that humans are about the only mammalian species that likes the effects of capsaicin? Allegedly. Birds don't have receptors for it so they don't even notice it. I say allegedly, because research tells me that squirrels don't like it and will not eat things that have it. But that research was all wrong! When I first bought this house, I put up a bird feeder. Squirrels would eat the seed. I found out about that and found a product that was a red powder, high in capsaicin. It was specifically marketed as a squirrel repellent, to keep them from eating the bird seed. You mix it in and they won't eat the seed. Well, I did that. And they kept eating it. I mixed in more, then more, then so much that the seed looked red from the kitchen window. Yet the squirrels kept eating it. I watched as a squirrel would eat and eat, then take a break, wipe his mouth and shake his head...then go back for more! Needless to say, I stopped buying that powder.

Mexican squirrels. Just be sure to put out a nice bowl of cerveza for them to wash it down.
ETA: "... eat and eat, then take a break, wipe his mouth and shake his head...then go back for more!"
That actually pretty much describes the way I eat. :)

Nope, no hairdryer. He's got 4 shurikens left, two small bags of caltrops, 4 kunai, and half of his daisho. Guess he's going to have curls.

on the topic of clothes, I can't find the scene files for Cassie at the fashion show. I wanted to work on the scenes so that I can upload some renders to DeviantArt. I thought I saved the files in a folder called Genesis 2. Ahh... mabye I should use Window's search feature.

Years ago I worked in garment factory shipping rooms. Three different companies. I found they all did one thing. When a style was running low and they didn't have plans to make more (either ever or yet), and they got a big order, they'd send a batch of one size to the stitching department and have them take out the size labels and replace them with one size smaller or one size larger. It always seemed unethical to me. But they seemed to get away with it. I guess the retailers just told the customer, "Oh, they run small" or, "Oh, they run big."

Today: TATER TOTS AND BBQ BOLOGNA! That's right, BBQ BOLOGNA! :bug:

Apparently bbq bologna is an Oklahoma tradition, and folks.. it's pretty darn good!

When I retire I'm going to write a book about all the places I've lived, all the beer I've tried, and all the foods I've tasted! Maybe all the strip clubs too (rofl)!

Must be 1/2lb. of tots.. there's breakfast! COFFEE AND TOTSSSSSS! :ahhh:
